To the annoyance of many, Datel were pretty awful at supporting their Max Media Player DS (review) product through the use of some \’third party hackers\’ known as Mushroom and Kingpin (did we say LOL already). While their product which happily sits on the shelves at shops such as Best Buy which can play DS ROMS, soon after the product was released updates quickly came to a grinding halt. However, a number of DS hackers have clubbed together to develop the Max Crass Method (MCM) which promises to significantly boost compatibility on Datel\’s product with no more \’card read\’ errors. Datel and it\’s \’third party hackers\’ have major props to pay to these DS hackers for making their clunky expensive adaptor a little bit more useful.
