Speaking to a gaming blog, Microsoft\’s Peter Moore has tried to justify why an Xbox 360 recall was not issued but instead a three year warranty was put into place. Moore commented that the Xbox 360\’s problems are not related to product safety and the \’vast majority\’ do have the red ring of death problem to warrant a recall. Although Moore stated the warranty is there to simply take care of its customer base.
