Rumor: Quake Arena heading to the DS?

John Carmack last night mentioned that there may well be a version of Quake Arena heading to the DS. Carmack commented that he\’d like the game to be more focused on the D-pad rather than the touch screen although no further information was given.

A 7-Eleven store is allowing customers to pre-order Halo 3 for the Xbox 360 at the moment. This is a bit of an inconventional move from the retailer but it could provide a good alternative place to buy the title should Gamestop and the like be all sold out.
