Is now the right time to buy a PS3?

A gaming website is claiming that now is a good time to buy the PS3, following the rough ride it had during its early launch phase. Improved DVD playback, streaming media, total backwards compatibility, price cuts, the success of Blu-ray and a number of promising exclusive titles support this view.

Vertex Racing - The finest looking PSP homebrew game so far?

MikeMax stopped by the MC forums to provide an update on how his homebrew racing game known as Vertex Racing is going. He uploaded a few new screens and they certainly look very well done for a homebrew game. A download is promised to come soon, but in the mean time read more here.


TimeShift heads to PC and Xbox 360 during October, PS3 version later

Sierra has confirmed that the FPS title TimeShift will be released on the Xbox 360 and PC platforms as of October 30th. Unfortunately the game will be released some months later during December on the PS3.
