Speaking in a recent interview, Gordon Hom the executive vice president (worldwide marketing & product management) for Buena Vista Home Entertainment (Disney) explained that the company decided to back Blu-ray as it has less limitations most noticably in terms of its capacity. Further to this, Hom fully expects Blu-ray to emerge as the single format in the market which will ultimately be best for consumers as voiced by the consumers themselves also.
