Microsoft has confirmed that it has spoken to BBC and a number of other Euorpean media companies in regards to its plans to launch its own digital television and video service in Europe. Microsoft has huge hopes to turn the Xbox 360 into an all in one digital entertainment hub and already offers digital video content via the Xbox 360 in North America.
