Bungie: Halo 3 beta was very useful, it made us triple our server capacity

Bungie\’s head of production Jonty Barnes has stated that Halo 3\’s beta testing phase over Xbox Live was very useful and thrown up some surprises. As a result of the Live beta, Bungie found out they had to triple their server capacity as well as spotting some bugs and fixing some usability issues.
