Sony\’s CEO Howard Stringer has been criticized for admitting weakness and that the Blu-Ray Vs HD DVD war was at a \”stalemate\”. Sony CEO also said winning the war is more about prestige than whose format wins out. \”[Winning] doesn\’t mean as much as all that,\” he said. He didn\’t stop there either. He went on to say he believes his company had an opportunity to unite HD-DVD under one format before he became CEO, and he wishes he had a time machine to travel back and make that happen. People are asking whether Stringer has dug Blu-Ray\’s own grave.
