Best Buy refused to display Wii’s to avoid mob scenes

A General Manager of a Best Buy store reportedly told a local paper that the company enforced a policy not to display any Wii\’s in order to avoid a mob scene. Instead they instructed employees to walk around the store and tell potential consumers that Nintendo\’s hot selling system was in stock.
