Gran Turismo 5 Prologue listed for 3/18/08, $59.99

Gamestop and EBgames are now accept pre-orders for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The game is priced at $59.99 and scheduled for release on the 3rd of March.


Sony showcases two BD-Live players, PS3 to get firmware upgrade

According to one website, Sony is showcasing two new prototype BD Live players which will both be at profile 2.0. Sony also reportedly indicate that the PS3 will also get a BD Live upgrade in the future.


Playstation platforms sell 3.9 million units over the Holidays

Sony has announced that it sold over 3.9 million units of Playstation platform hardware over the 2007 gholiday season lasting from November 23rd to December 31st. The PSP sold 1.4 million units, the PS2 sold 1.3 million units and the PS3 sold 1.2 million units.


Hacker thinks he has found more reasons for a third generation of PSPs

During his \’reverse\’ of PSP firmware v3.80, SilverSpring believes he has found further reasons for a rumored third generation of PSP. You can read all about his findings here but the challenge lies in identifying whether they will be new features on existing systems (more likely) or actually part of something bigger.


Sony officially announce Skype for PSP details

Sony have officially announced today that it would introduce Skype features for the PSP (PSP-2000 series). Skype services will be available after a software update scheduled for late January. To use Skype features on PSP you will need a Memory Stick Duo, a wireless Internet connection and a Skype-compatible audio input device.
