Sony is set to launch the FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC) in India. The event is being played exclusively on the PlayStation 3, on Fifa 08. The winner of the India chapter will compete in the world championship to be held at Berlin, Germany. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe country manager Atindriya Bose said, \”With the added realism that PlayStation 3 brings to FIFA 08, we have every belief that now is the time to truly make an impact with the FIFA Interactive World Cup.\”
