Reuters - The start of summer is often bittersweet for gamers: there is lots of free time to play, but typically few new releases to fill the long days.

This week the popular Nintendo DS puzzle game Actionloop Twist™ launches on WiiWare! Pick your favourite Mii character and take control of the Gemstone launcher simply by twisting the Wii Remote back and forth, firing magnetic Gemstones of matching colours to make them disappear before they reach the end of the loop.

German developer BigBen Interactive has revealed that it has intentions to release Body Coaching for the Wii. The game will be sold separately with two weighted dumbbels that will be attached to the Wii remote and players will work through a variety of training sessions in front of their games console and TV.

A recent Facebook application has managed to bring something similar to the PSN/Xbox Live buddy systems to the Wii.
